ZOO

Next place we had planned was day trip to the Zoo with the Elsberry side. All my brothers and sisters and respective spouses and kids all came. It was awesome! Sally and BenJAMIN were the only ones not able to make it. Bummer having to work. Fav part of the day was learning that i became a member of the Matchy-Matchy Club. Chris, Carree and i all brilliantly wore the same color shirt. And! There was a spotted frog sporting the same color as our Matchy-Matchy Club. Duh, we took a picture.
Aslan showed up. Carter and Avry are convinced that any lion is Aslan. So we saw him live (not sleeping) in his exhibit and then an excellent mock up near the monkeys later. It worked out great. Seeing as the real Aslan doesn't like posing for photos, the mock up served it's purpose.
Another highlight was the famous hummingbird that followed our group around all the exhibits. I think we smelled good - i did take a shower that morning.
