Technically Carter's birthday is on Monday, but we're going to celebrate it tomorrow for a ton of different reason you don't really need to know. What you DO need to know is that i made the cake today. Wow, it was hot, hard work. I say hot because let's face it... i'm a ditz. The oven was on, dishwasher on the drying cycle, and the AC was turned off... yup, the fondant was melting. What's sad is that i didn't realize it for about 3 hours! When it finally set in the cake was ooozing off the platform i quickly remedied the situation. Still, the damage had been done. With that said, please forgive the appearance of the frosting and let's all remember it is for a 5 year old.
