I found this chair at the Salvation Army this summer.. i was planning on putting it in the 'spare 'oom' as the sitting chair. (Oops... never showed pictures of the finished result, uh? sorry, i'll get on that.) But it didn't really go in the room. Too tradtional. So it sat in the garage all summer.. and early fall... and late fall. It didn't start out pulled apart like the picture (I didn't take a true before shot), it was actually really well put together. i obviously didn't want to keep the lovely shade of mauve, so i finally got a little motivated and started tearing it apart. Then Trev thought it would be fun... then Amy thought it would be even more fun.
You get the idea. Then for my birthday, Amy said she would help me finish a project. Sweet! Chair it is.
Then the sewing machine broke. By THE i mean mine. Amy took the rest of the project home and then for Thanksgiving...
