Packrats?

Trev has this bass speaker that we can't seem to place anywhere but on the floor. On the side is this opening that i thought was just a handle. Hahahaha, the kids knew better. Apparently for YEARS they have made this their secret cubby hole. I say years, b/c we spotted a binkie that neither of my kids have used in over 18 months and pieces to a motorcycle Carter got in the hospital in FL! How we figured it out after it's been going on for years? Trev went to turn the speaker on to watch a game (i don't usually use them. Why would i want Dora on surround sound?) and it rattled and hissed at him. He was devastated thinking the speaker got busted in the move. Then he shook it upside down and one of the smaller toys came up for air. Hahahah. He was livid - i couldn't stop laughing. Since the hole was so small only Carter and Avry could resuce the damaged speaker. Soon we had quite a pile. Needless to say, the kids got quite a talkin' to by dad when it was all over. hahaha
