Deer

Parker is really proud of all it's "Open Space". It's this natural vegetation in between rows of houses similar to an alleyway. But all neighborhoods have it, not just the "inner city" ones. Anyways, this particular open space photographed is behind Carter's Preschool Teacher's house. It's extremely common to see Deer running around like this. You can get pretty close before they spook. It's super cool. Our house is on the wrong side of the hill, but our neighbors across the way get fox, deer, wolves, and occasionally mountain lion coming up to their back gates. As much as we want to think Parker is a "big city", let's face it, we still share it with all the wild life that continues to live here despite our best efforts to civilize.
