California and Family

We made a quick, (super quick), trip to California this weekend. First day we met up with an old friend, but like a ninny, i didn't take any pictures. Really though, all you need to know is she looked good and the kids got along great. I think Avry found her future companion. Krees, is it ok we save Collin and Avry for eachother? Betroth them or something? Think about it.

Later that very same day we saw my dear Aunty Kathryne and her other half, Chad. So nice of them to meet us. We cruised Downtown Disney and got in some good window shopping.

Sunday was all about the Johnson clan and a new baby. The kids were fascinated with the new baby. Avry had to be in the same room as Blake the entire time. And Blake spawned tons of new questions for Carter about when he was baby since seeing what a baby actually looks like. (Hope that made sense.) Spent time in good company, was uplifted at church, ate some good food and then headed back to the airport.

Like i said, quick. But definitely worth it.
