Raining!

We've had pretty constant rain here for the last couple of days... at first it was in the afternoon, right around 2 pm. Just like FL. It helped get me out of the house in the morning knowing that there wasn't a chance on getting out in the afternoon. In that regard, i competely welcomed the rain. Reminded me of our old routine. But today and for the next several days it's raining all day. Mean rain: cold, windy, intense lightening. Ugh. AND! There's immense flash flooding. In FL it felt like even the concrete soaked up the water and it wasn't ever really bad (ok, except right by the canals when they started to overflow, but even then it didn't stay on the banks for more than a few hours). Here, ever where you turn there's water up to your ankles! Wow! I've never seen water pool like that. It's crazy. I guess Greeley looks like a hurricane hit it with the amount of water that is on the roads. Weird.
Wow, seems like i should be a meterologist. RIght, gotta get some grocery shopping down before the lightening picks up this afternoon. HEY! At least i can wear long pants!
