Lately Carter has been OBSESSED with dinosaurs. Pretty much all day consists of him and Avry chasing each other being dinosaurs all over the house. Of course Avry thinks she's a dino too, b/c she does whatever Carter does.

Avry and i went to the library a few weeks ago by ourselves. She picked out princess and bug books. Carter saw them when he got home and told me the books were no good and we had to go back and get Dino books. Awesome.
Now we have a fantastic variety of dino books to read, thanks to a return trip to the Library. Oh, did i mention he thinks he IS a dinosaur? Really. Whenever we see a T-rex picture... he says, " Mom, Mom, Mom. MOM! (He can't just say it one time). That's me! See that T-rex (pointing frantically at the page). That's me eating my lunch! (t-rex devouring prey)." Another dinosaur he thinks he is would be the Triceratops. Something about the spikes, i guess. It's hilarious. Since we've now read the books about a dozen times i now make him read them to me. It takes four times as long, but at least we only go through one dino book instead of 8 in a sitting.
He now tells me that for his birthday,... "I really, really, really, need a dinosaur puzzle, a dinosaur movie, dinosaur toys, dinosaur pjs, dinosaur everything. I just really needs them."
To appease him for the moment we got dinosaur chicken nuggets so he can eat those everyday for lunch. Had to do something.

Dinos hu. We had a picnic at the park yesterday and my friend brought dino sandwiches. I bet Carter would love that. She has one of those little sandwich cutters. I'll have to find out where she got it.
Kids and their obsessions are so funny!

That is so cute! Don't you just love it when they go through those obsessions..so fun!!
Ashtons favorite Dinosaur is the Rysanitar. When he said that I thought hummmmmm, never heard that one. Turns out its not a real dinosaur. Booo. At least finding dinasaur theme things is easy.
You guys should head over to the Museum of Nature and Science if you haven't already. There is a huge real t-rex skeleton and a whole dino exhibit that's always there.
