Moving and other stuff

What a whirlwind the last few weeks have been! We left our sweet Philly... had to take a picture of the chapel by Trev's hospital complete with the homeless guy chilling on the front steps.

From  Philly we did take a trip to Palmyra with the Huntleys but sadly my wits were not about me so there are no pictures to document. Well maybe there is on another camera, but i haven't found that camera yet. Haha.  To break up the trip we pit stopped in North Carolina and spent a day and a bit with Sam and Kat. They were super generous to host our huge clan in their 2 bedroom home. This is us all gussied up for church.

But then we made it to Florida. And thru all the moving commotion and unpacking Avry managed to convince her dad it was time to get her ears pierced. She got them done for Carter's baptism. She was sooo proud! Gramma Patty bought her the first set of earings. Super awesome!

(Hm, this picture seems to have flipped on its own) but my family and Trev's family made it to Florida for Carter's baptism! Lots of effort from both parties were exhorted, but it helped make Carter's day really special. Thanks for all the fanagling!

Here he is, trying to be tall like his dad!

Since we made it here we've spent a lot of time at the pool. Keely is hilarious with her googles. She really uses them more like sunglasses. She has yet to submerge her head in water. But Carter and Avry are little fish. So fun to watch them explore this new skill of theirs. And in a pool they don't have to share with ANYONE! Well, most of the time. ;-)
Today was our very first time to go the  beach. Between unpacking the house, settling my affairs, and potty training Keely we just didn't make it. But potty training is done, affairs settled and house all unpacked equals... BEACH DAY!  I taught Carter how to body surf. Can you see him looking for his next wave? He did it all morning. It was just me with the minnions so i took the kids out one at a time to enjoy the big open ocean. It helped pass the time for everyone. And now i'm EXHAUSTED.. i wouldn't be lying when i said i took a 2 hour nap when we got home. Awesome.
That's it for now.. if you want, i'll post pictures of my sweet new place. hahah . Right.

I'm just jealous you are back close to the beach. Enjoy it for me as much as possible. Congrats on Carter's baptism, super cool both families could make it. Glad you are all moved in, and ready for visitors. :) Oh loved the swim pictures of the oh familiar pool of yours.
